| Tucked well away from the bars, The Mariner's Kitchen is The Bedford
Tavern's own unique restaurant. Specialising in fish and seafood it also has a wide
selection of organic meats and vegetarian dish What make The Mariner's so different
from other restaurants is that all your food is cooked before you in the open plan
setting.
Phil Dooley is your Chef who formerly owned and cooked at the popular "Marmalade
and Friends".
He then moved on to a new challenge, The Bedford
Tavern. He has been called a Chef with a calling and his love for good food and wine
becomes clear to the diner.
It is a delightful little restaurant of no more than 18 covers. It's main feature is
the superb copper bar which houses a refridgerated unit displaying the CATCH OF THE DAY
- a selection of starters and main courses available over and above the normal menu.
The Mariners Kitchen is a popular venue, Because of it;s size we accept prior bookings
only.
The three course Sunday lunch at £9.95 is extremely popular.
